Teighan’s Travels: a note to my classmates back home…

Dear Mrs. Richardson and Friends,

I miss you. I just wanted to check on you. Me and mum and dad love our trip so much. My favorite is the Queen’s party room. I love you so much.

From Teighan

PS: I lost my first two bottom teeth in the same weekend!

My new school:

I ride my bike to school almost every day. Most of the families ride bikes. Even Tess, my new American friend.  My new classmates are very nice and they are from all over the world. One is even from Spain! we have an outdoor class once a month. We looked for things in nature that animals use to make their beds. I made a bed for deer. Then we made a fire and roasted marshmellows. We are learning about all the birds around us. They are really cool. Many are different from home. There’s a funny pheasant that eats seeds that falls from a birdfeeder in front of our house every morning. We also see a lot of magpies.

It’s been raining a lot here. It’s always wet! I have fun jumping in puddles.

Our first castle

Warwick castle was built almost 1,000 years ago!

I took sword fighting lessons from a knight!

Any questions? I would love to hear from you.

I’m proud and amazed that my grandson has become a man of the world so quickly and so well. Tell the queen your grandparents say hello. And congratulate Prince Harry on his upcoming wedding. Tata

Oh Teighan, you are such a lucky little boy! I love the tree house at your school. I would like to just sit in there and draw. I also like your bow tie!
